Transcoding and networking stay in Jellyfin (the map’s answer 5): a wrong setting breaks every stream, and the 12.0 upgrade once reset NVENC and the HEVC settings without a word. So this page only compares: NVENC on the graphics card, hardware encoding on, HEVC encoding allowed (browsers are kept off HEVC by the web client patch), tone mapping on. A row in red is drift to put right in Jellyfin’s Playback settings.
