Jellyfin’s light housekeeping runs on Jellyfin’s own timer, at the times the panel keeps for it. Its heavy per-item tasks (trickplay, chapter images, Intro Skipper, audio normalisation, keyframes) run from the panel instead, one at a time after the 3:00 am library scan, and only while nobody is watching. If Jellyfin puts its own schedule back (an upgrade does), the panel puts its plan back within a minute and notes it below.
The night sequence’s order and window, and the scan buttons, are on Jellyfin Tasks and Jellyfin Libraries. This page only reads.
